Requirements
Minimum Requirements
DXP ToolKit is a WordPress plugin and as such, will only work with the WordPress framework. In order to optimally use DXP ToolKit, the following minimum requirements need to be met:
- PHP version 7.4 or greater
- WordPress version 5.1 or greater
- Any of the following page builders: Gutenberg, Beaver Builder or Elementor
Prerequisites
Your server infrastructure sits at the base level of your digital presence and as such, it is critical for an enjoyable user experience.
While DXP ToolKit will work with virtually any hosting provider and server configuration, the following basic server requirements are generally recommended for a stable server, which will in turn ensure DXP ToolKit's optimal usage:
- Web server: Nginx or Apache with mod-rewrite module
- Disk space: At least 5 GB
- PHP: Version 7.4 or higher
- Database: MySQL 5.015 or higher (An alternative is MariaDB, version 10.1 or higher)
- RAM (Random Access Memory): At least 512 MB
- CPU (Central Processing Unit): At least 1.0 GHz
- Support for HTTPS
Recommended Requirements
The following are a set of ideal requirements that will ensure a blazing-fast WordPress application performance and in turn make DXP ToolKit that much more performant:
- Disk space: At least 25 GB
- PHP: Version 8.1 or higher
- Database: Latest stable MySQL 8 version or higher (An alternative is MariaDB, version 10.6 or higher)
- WordPress: Latest stable WordPress 6 version or higher
- RAM (Random Access Memory): At least 8 GB
- CPU (Central Processing Unit): At least 2.0 GHz
- Support for HTTPS
- Support for static page caching
- Support for Redis object caching
Incompatibilities
